Reactions to Your Donations!!!
***On behalf of my wife and son I would like to thank you for your generous gift. After Sandy we were devastated when we viewed the condition of our house and realized that we had lost almost everything. Since then our main goal has been to return our son, who will be three in March, back into his home. This process has been more demanding than we imaged, but the support of our community and the thoughtfulness of your charity has been a blessing and we are enthusiastic about returning to Manasquan. Thank you.
***Words cannot begin to express our appreciation for your support and for the very generous monetary gifts that you have dispersed to the students and parents from Manasquan High School. We wish that you could have seen the faces and reactions of the individuals that were the benefactors. They were extremely overwhelmed by your kindness and humbled that the Long Blue Line wanted to support them during this very difficult time. We continue to foster our "Friends Help Friends" motto at our school and the Long Blue Line has certainly demonstrated that in their actions through providing help to our families during Hurricane Sandy Recovery. *** Happy New Year! We would like to thank you all so very much for the generous donation this holiday season. Receiving this monetary gift from the Long Blue Line will help us financially, but it also gave us an enormous emotional boost. It has been almost three months since Sandy slammed into the Jersey Shore and we all know that it will take a very long time to fully recover. We consider ourselves lucky because we were able to move back into the second floor of our house after only two weeks. While we were grateful to be home, we lived through almost daily demolition of our first floor over the next few weeks. Our children have been very patient during the process - despite seeing many of their toys and belongings being put on the curb. My oldest son had his bedroom on the first floor and now sleeps on the floor in his brother's room. We look forward to the reconstruction process in 2013, and understand that it is "a process". However, the outpouring of support from the Manasquan Community has been amazing. Your support of our family will never be forgotten and will always be carried in our hearts!

** "I can't thank you enough for your generous gift, you have no idea what it meant to me and my family. My only means of financial support comes from being a substitute teacher. When Sandy hit schools closed and even when they did reopen I had to take an extra few weeks off to clean out my home and make arrangements for it to be repaired. With no paychecks coming in I had to rely on my credit cards to get me through. I had no idea how I was going to pay them off but my faith in God knew that he would guide me through this. When I received your gift my prayers had been answered and a weight had been lifted from my heart.
